Poetry of the Sexes

FEMALE POEM:

I want a man who's handsome, smart and strong

One who loves to listen long.

One who thinks before he speaks.

One who'll call, not wait for weeks.

I want him to be gainfully employed,

When I spend his cash, be not annoyed.

Pulls out my chair and opens my door,

Massages my back and begs to do more.

Oh! For a man who makes love to my mind

And knows what to answer to "how big is my behind?"

I want this man to love me to no end,

And always be my best friend.

MALE POEM:
I want a def-mute nymphomaniac

who owns a liquor store

And a bass boat.

I know this doesn't rhyme and I don't give a crap.

Internet Addicts

"31 Million American adults show signs of compulsive internet usage."

I find this sorta disturbing. When I think about it....there are probably almost 12 web sites that I check daily. Granted, some of them are for work and checking to make money doesn't count right? So that takes me down to about 9 but that's still strange to think about. I know that if I go a day or 2 without checking my email I'll spend 30 min. deleting all the junk that has built up in there. It's strange to think back to the time before all this...internet, cell phones. It's like having a whole new section of life to keep up with. Sometimes I think we need some time away....like a vacation where the cell phones don't work and there's no WiFi. I'd still want my GPSr though ;)

"30% Percentage of US businesses that have fired an employee for problematic Web surfing, such as gambling, watching porn, and shopping."

They are currently building China's first in-patient rehab center for internet addicts at the Beijing Military Clinic.
